AND MINDFULNESS PRACTICES

Come join this workshop of discussions and practice to make your holiday season fun, healthy and one to remember! This is the period when we often dine with family and friends, indulge in holiday treats, and get down with seasonal blues.
Rita will share ideas and concrete strategies to truly enjoy yourself, the holiday, food and the colder seasons. We will talk about the root causes of over-eating, sugar intake, alcohol overuse and how not to lose yourself during this time. We will practice yoga, meditation, pranayama and self-care practices.
Together we will look through the lenses of Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Mindfulness to understand how Fall and Winter affect us. You will discover the best ways to eat, move, sleep, have a brighter mood and release stress as the colder months roll in, but most importantly we will have fun!
