MEET PAULINE

Pauline Reid has been a student of Qigong and Tai Chi since 1989 and began teaching in 1997. She is certified to teach several styles of Qigong and holds Advanced Instructor Certification through the National Qigong Association, where she is a Professional Member.

Pauline’s in-depth knowledge enables her to teach to the level of each student, from beginner through advanced. Her ready laughter and compassion for others creates a relaxed environment for people to embrace all aspects of a qigong practice – mind, body and spirit. Along with offering private instruction, weekly classes and workshops, Pauline mentors other qigong instructors and aspiring instructors. Pauline also works with Himalayan singing bowls, providing private vibrational sound therapy sessions as well as group sound baths.

Introduction to Qigong (Chi Kung)

Qigong (pronounced chee-gung) is an ancient Chinese practice that combines movement, breath, and meditation to reduce stress, enhance health, improve emotional balance, and encourage a sense of well-being.

Relieve stress and move toward wellness

Studies have shown that long term stress is a major contributor to ill health, both physical and emotional. This workshop focuses on using Qigong (Chi Kung) and breath practices to help move us out of stress

Balance and flexibility as we age (4 week series)

​

Learn simple Qigong (Chi Kung) and Tai Chi movements to help maintain flexibility and balance as you age. Studies have shown that Tai Chi (a form of Qigong) practice improves balance. 

Duration: 4 consecutive weeks. 1 hour per class
