MEET DANIA 

I’m Dania, mom of three very active boys, an artist, photographer, and teacher. When my oldest son was diagnosed with dairy and gluten allergies, I realized that many of the gluten-free and vegan alternatives were heavily processed and full of sugar.

I began researching and experimenting with different ingredients so that he could enjoy healthy and delicious snacks. Granola quickly became our family’s favorite snack. During holidays and social gatherings, I would gift my granola to friends and neighbors, and they always came back asking for more! In late 2018, when my youngest started school, I decided to launch Dano's Granola.


"Dano" is my nickname given to me by my family and growing up in Lebanon during the civil war in the 1980s, my only escape to a sense of normalcy and security was spending time with my grandmother in her kitchen learning from her. Many years after my family immigrated to the United States and while studying for my Masters in Art at MICA, I incorporated baking into my final thesis. Dano's Granola is the culmination of my life experiences, my passion for baking, and in my own way honoring the memory of my grandmother.
